December 20th 2018 saw a number of tests in the dojo but the number 4 was the magic number. Tests comprised of 3 folks taking their 4th kyu test, featuring Cormac, Ben and Ben. Missing was Ryan who was unfortunately down with a serious case of flu and pneumonia but Sensei Smith made sure to let Ryan know he was not off the hook and when recovered will be taking his in due course.
Following on was Peter with his 4th dan (yondan) test and then as a bit of a surprise, John was called up to also take his 4th dan test.
Family and friends were present to witness some great tests as overseen by Sensei Smith and O’Connor. It is great to see the growth of our kid students into teens and have them now in the adults class helping to keep Aikido continue on in Bermuda.
